"But I have met four of the seven men who killed our husbands."

Carbon copy of a letter. Paper, 8.5" x 11", 5 pages. Apparently begun on October 13, 1958, with an additional section added October 28. Letter from Elisabeth Elliot to Marj Saint and Marilou McCully, probably intended for wider dissemination, which described how she, her daughter Valerie, Rachel Saint, Dayuma, Mintaka, and Mankamo arrived in the Waorani village on the Tiwaenu River and their first days there. (Note: the Archives has another copy of this letter in folder 278-1-2, which is only three pages in length.) From BGC Archives, Collection 278, Box 4, folder 6.
